When will Witness be available?
Witness is in final preparation for the App Store. This page will link to it as soon as it is released.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 26 and at least 6 GB of memory, and Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 26. The bundled AI models need about 4 GB of storage.
Does my audio go to a server?
No. Recording, transcription, speaker separation and reports all happen on your device. Witness has no account and makes no network connections.
Can I record other people?
Only lawfully. Many places require everyone's consent. Witness reminds you before each recording; informing participants is your responsibility.
How accurate is the AI?
Very useful but not perfect: words can be misheard and items missed. AI content is labelled in the app; check important details against the recording.
